Avengers: Infinity War has set a huge benchmark for a Hollywood film in the Indian market. After collecting Rs 31.30 crore on the first day of its release and Rs 30.50 crore on Saturday, the film showed a good jump on Sunday by earning Rs 32.50 crore. However, collections of the the film’s first Monday are quite a shocker as Avengers: Infinity War saw a dip in the curve as it made Rs 20.52 crore yesterday.According to early estimates, it is expected to make Rs 18 crore on its fifth day, bringing its total collection to Rs 132.82 crore approx

Marvel Studio’s biggest superhero film has become 2018’s highest Hollywood earner in India till date with its gross box office collections of Rs 120.09 crore in three days. The film, which brings together the largest gathering of superheroes to battle it out against supervillain Thanos, also had the biggest day one opening ever for a Hollywood movie in the country.
“The opening weekend numbers are a testament to ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ creating a cinematic milestone. The success goes to show the ever increasing fan base and the pop culture phenomena that Marvel as a brand enjoys in India,” Bikram Duggal- Head of Studio Entertainment, Disney India, said in a statement.
The film passed the Monday test with flying colours, and made Rs 20 crore. According to early estimates, it is expected to make Rs 18 crore on its fifth day, bringing its total collection to Rs 132.82 crore approx.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers Infinity War has been touted as the biggest crossover event in the history of Marvel. The film has smashed several box office records in the world, including that of the highest opening-day grosser ever worldwide.
Avengers Infinity War has been running to packed houses ever since the film hit the theatres in India. It was released across 2000 screens in the country.
The film has a stellar cast including Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Pratt, Chris
Hemsworth, Benedict Cumberbatch, Scarlett Johansson and Mark Ruffalo, and tells the tale of
Marvel's best superheroes, who have to unite and save the world from the villain Thanos.
Avengers Infinity War earned USD 630 million (Rs 417 crore) on its opening day worldwide.
